A 18-year-old kid, Michael Segun, on Tuesday, showed up before an Ikeja Boss Officers’ Court in Lagos State for supposedly thrashing a safety officer with boards and jugs.
The jobless respondent, who dwells off the Skipper region, Abule Egba, Lagos, was accused of connivance and attack.
The investigator, ASP Raji Akeem, told the court on Monday that the offenses were committed on June 1 at Larryem Lodging, Abule Egba, Lagos.
Akeem claimed that the litigant welcomed his companions and severely attacked the complainant, Mr Shettima Ibrahim, a lodging safety officer, for really considering reprimanding him for smoking Indian hemp inside the inn premises.
The investigator let the court know that the complainant was hurried to clinic for clinical consideration.The offenses, as indicated by the examiner, contradicted Areas 173 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State.
The litigant, be that as it may, argued not blameworthy to the charges.The Central Judge, Mrs Bola Osunsanmi, in all actuality the respondent bail in the amount of N100,000 with two guarantees in like aggregate.
Osunsanmi concluded the case until August 2 for notice.
