LEE THOMPSON YOUNG
Lee Thompson Young’s very first role was the lead in the Disney Channel’s “The Famous Jett Jackson.” He followed that up with a part in the film “Friday Night Lights” and eventually landed a role on TNT’s “Rizzoli and Isles,” where he played Detective Barry Frost for four seasons. In 2013, after Young failed to show up for work on the set of the cable drama, police were called to do a well-being check and found him dead in his Los Angeles apartment of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 29 years old. Young had been diagnosed as bipolar and had suffered from depression.
