It is no longer news that the whole world can’t wait to witness Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tie the knot. The royal wedding is scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 19, 2o18 at the St. Georges Chapel at Windsor Castle.
Meghan Markle became engaged to Prince Harry on November 27, 2017, and ever since the public has been anticipating the couple’s wedding.
Meghan and Harry’s wedding is sure going to be different from Kate Middleton and Prince Williams’ and here’s everything you need to know about the wedding of the moment.
1. THE WEDDING VENUE
Unlike Prince William and Kate Middleton who got married at Westminster Abbey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be wed in Windsor Castle.
2. THE WEDDING DRESS
Following in the footsteps of her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Markle will reportedly wear two gowns, one to the ceremony, and one to the reception.
The plan is for her to change after the ceremony so that she can party the night away in something glamorous and less restrictive. Meghan has reportedly picked a wedding dress designer, and fittings have begun at Kensington Palace.
Although there are not many details about the wedding dresses, there is the talk of some lace and sleeves and Meghan has been working very closely with the designer who has been sworn to secrecy. We’ll just have to wait until the wedding day to see what they have in store.
