As the fight to combat the coronavirus in Nigeria continue to intensify, there have been growing need to make use of facemasks in public to prevent the spread.
Owing to the fact that facemasks are becoming scarce, it became necessary for the government to look within by encouraging local production of facemasks using local materials.
Lagos state, which happens to have the highest case of coronavirus, have also followed the route as the Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s government is set to make the use of facemasks in public compulsory.
In a show of leadership by example, Gov. Sanwo-Olu has been spotted using the locally made facemasks in public, which is a plus for the local markets.
