TV Personality, Funmi Iyanda has criticized Sterling bank’s decision to get retweets on their Twitter page before they send relief items to Benue flood victims. Funmi Iyanda who was infuriated by the bank’s decision, took to her twitter page to reply the corporate organisation. She wrote;
Does anyone else find corporates asking for retweets to contribute money to disaster relief distasteful or am i now fully nuts
The Benue flood which happened some days ago, sent thousands of Benue residents out of their homes.
Properties worth millions of naira were destroyed by the flood.
According to reports, the flood was caused by River Niger.
