Nigerians react as Jumia sells the latest IPhone XS Max for N5000 (Photos)
The Black Friday season is upon us again and one of Nigeria’s biggest online store, Jumia joins other world renowned malls in the Black Friday sales. In a bid promote this event, Jumia set out a contest called ‘Treasure Hunt’ where you get to ransack pages and categories to search for an item with a slashed price.
To start with, they sold IPhone XS max with a market price of over N500k last night for a token of N5000 and this has kept many Nigerians awake and glued to their smartphones and other devices just to search for the almost free device.
Below are some reactions after many toiled all night and found next to nothing. The part that got me the most was when a guy almost ordered the pouch of iPhone max thinking it’s the real phone
