In a recent interview, former Afrobeats singer come evangelist, Kasbeats has revealed that he does not accept tithes and offerings as part of his ministry.
He explained that he has been involved in preaching and ministry since he was a young child, and while his music career brought him fame, it is not his primary focus.
Kasbeats clarified that he has never received a direct message from God telling him to collect money from people after preaching.
Instead, he relies on God’s provision to fund his ministry, which includes organizing crusades and seminars where he gives out food and other items to those in attendance.
He believes that this is the best way to serve the community and spread the message of God’s love.
Despite his past success as a musician, Kasbeats is committed to his calling as an evangelist and is dedicated to serving others through his ministry.
He said;
“I have always been into ministry, I have been preaching since I was six, seven years old. I have been preaching for a very long time.As a young preacher and church boy, I am also a musician.
“Obviously, my music made me popular. My name is Kas but I was given the ‘Beats’ part of it in the church. My choir mistress back then named me Kas Beats because of the way I play the drums in church. I have always been into ministry. The music part of it is just a gift that God gave me.
“Honestly there was no particular experience, I always knew I would be into ministry, there was no sign, nothing, I just always knew. Whenever I hang out with my friends, fellow musicians, 2face, D’Banj, Wande, whenever I hang out with them, and they see me in the club they say ‘this guy is different’.
“Whenever I preach, I don’t collect tithes and offerings. When God called me, He did not tell me to take money from people. There is a way God provides me with money, so I do more crusades and seminars. Any time I organise crusades and seminars, I actually give people food and other items, instead of collecting money from them.”
