Nigerian veteran entertainer, Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, has revealed that, growing up, he used to scam banks.
Charly Boy claimed he used to be a fraudster and recalled how he was scamming banks way before cyberfraud, otherwise known as 419 or ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ became popular in Nigeria.
The controversial activist made the confession during the latest episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, co-hosted OAP Nedu, Husband Material, Ezinne and Toun.
He said;
“I was scamming banks. Even before una begin hear of 419, I don do small.”
Nedu asked: “You used to scam banks and they paid?”
Charly Boy replied, “Yes, of course.”
He then briefly talked about his love and admiration for the gay community and disclosed that he became a bad boy from birth and had a child at the age of sixteen, claiming his first child is now 53 years old.
