7. Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello
Arrigo Sacchi never played as a professional player, yet he was a good manager. Back in 1987, AC Milan sacked Fabio Capello. Arrigo Sacchi took his place and he immediately won the 1987/1988 Serie A title, and did a good job. There’s was a catch, though- Sacchi put pressure on AC Milan to spend more. The Rossoneri sacked him and hired Fabio Capello once again. Capello won the rivalry battle, as he brought more success than Arrigo Sacchi did.
