16. Sting in HOF
It would be understandable if those who watched Sting make his name in World Championship Wrestling would be upset about how the WWE has used the icon of the ring over the past couple of years. All of that will go away if only for an hour or so when Sting receives the honor that he deserves: Induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Sting will have an open microphone and a platform to thank the fans and possibly to even say goodbye as an active performer. Even if no other big name is part of the class, Sting alone will be worth the price of admission for wrestling fans who grew up watching him.
15. Samoa Joe
Any worries that one might have had about Samoa Joe not being fully motivated as a member of the NXT roster were quickly put to bed for good in 2015. Joe proved to be a perfect replacement for Kevin Owens after Owens was called up to the main roster, as the former Ring of Honor and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling star made the transition from babyface to heel in order to feud with Finn Balor over the NXT title. There are numerous different programs that could feature Joe throughout the 2016 calendar year regardless of if he is working on NXT or the main roster. Either way, Joe is a great get for the company.
