In truth though, celebrities, aside from their money and sometimes lavish lifestyles, are ordinary people. Just like the rest of us, they have to deal with the stresses of everyday life which include things such as dealing with marital problems and raising children.
All that being said, we ‘regular’ people still have a tendency of raising celebrities to a pedestal, and making role models out of them; which is why we become fixated on entertainment news outlets whenever a story breaks about some sort of celebrity scandal or legal issue. Celebrities, like us, have embarrassing moments that they would gladly like to forget ever happened. Sometimes, these embarrassing moments involve the authorities and an arrest; and even though embarrassing arrests do happen to regular people, a celebrity arrest seems that much more bizarre.
13. Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen started his acting career with successful movies such as Platoon, Wall Street, and Hot Shots; he would later go one to have great television success with sitcoms Spin City, Anger Management, and the hugely popular Two and a Half Men. With all of his success though, Charlie has had a string of legal problems stemming primarily from drug abuse. In 2010, he was arrested for damaging a hotel room; apparently Charlie had taken cocaine and gotten into a disagreement with adult star Capri Anderson regarding the cost of her services for the night. He then lost his cool and went on to cause 7000$ worth of damages. When police arrived, they found Sheen naked while Anderson was locked in the bathroom fearing for her own safety.
